Our History
The history behind Maple & Jack Florist. Coming from a humble coastal town in the south east of England training at college at the age of 16, floristry engaged my interest pretty much from the start. Always having a creative mind, being arty at school I think it was the duck to water affect. Working for and with some truly amazing florists which has developed and expanded my skills in the process meeting some special people along the way.Passionate about anything floral, my organic, naturalistic style oozes style and quality.A few years ago I met my husband from across the ocean here in Cape Breton. Wanting a brand that combines both British and Canadian cultures yet being eye-catching and unique. This is where Maple & Jack Florist was born. With a common tie being the crown/commonwealth and linking both our beautiful countries together...for Canada we have the maple leaf whilst for The UK we have The Union Jack. Offering floral designs in all aspects of floristry from funerals to hand-tied bouquets all using the finest quality flowers and foliage made by love and attention to detail. This stunningly graceful arrangement named after my beautiful Great Grandmother celebrates her graceful and gentle nature using a beautiful selection of pastel florals and soft delicate foliage to create a soft and delicate arrangement. Displayed in a pretty natural basket.

Named after and inspired by my sister's favourite childhood movie character this bold, rich and opulent design takes you through the very country where Jasmin lives using bright, opulent shades echoing the Middle Eastern culture. Proudly displayed in a golden container.

A absolute showstopper named and inspired after my truly amazing Grandma who just loved her garden and all things family as to Grandma 'Family was Everything' also the name of the Greek Goddess of Colour, the personification of the rainbow bridging heaven and earth with colour and light. Comprising a gorgeous array of multicoloured florals, luxury foliage and displayed in a container.
